Research interests:
  managerial economic analysis, advanced manufacturing technology.
Professional Experience:
  Professor Tang has been the Vice-President of UESTC since 2001, and was the Dean of Management School before that. He was born in May 1955, in Penzhou, Sichuan Province. He completed his doctorate education in Chongqing University, major in Theory and Application of Auto-control in Auto-control Department. He had worked as a visiting scholar in Manchester University of England.
  Professor Tang focuses his study in the field of management science and technology. As the leader and chief researcher, he has conducted and completed more than 10 state and provincial research projects, including the project supported by the Funds for Outstanding Youth Scientist, and projects granted by the National Educational Commission named "Century-Spanning Project for Talent Person " and so on.
  He has published seven books, and more than 100 papers. The achievements of his research have won him 11 prizes including national and provincial ones. He has owned himself more than 10 honorable titles and reputations, such as "State Youth Scientist with Prominent Contributions ","Chinese Excellent Youth Scientist" and"the First Prize for Those Occupying Special Skill and Technology" rewarded by the Ministry of Personnel of China. He is now holding more than 10 social posts besides his teaching and researching professionals, such as the consultant of Sichuan Science and Technology Consultative Committee, the director of the Board of Chinese Systems Engineering Institute, the member of editorial board of the "Journal of Management Science" and IT & DM.

    Professional Experience:
      Professor Li graduated from Xi'an JiaoTong University with the major of Management Science and Engineering, and got the master degree in 1987.It has broken the regular rule of promotion that he was promoted to be an associate professor and a full professor in May 1997 and July 2004 respectively. He has engaged himself in researching works in the field of Organization and Promoting as well as Strategic Management for over 10 years. As the chief researcher, he has conducted more than 10 national, provincial and ministry research projects. He has profound knowledge in the theory of strategy management for enterprises, technological innovation, management in science and technology, and gained a number of outstanding achievements, especially in the strategic management for enterprise, industry and regional development. He has published six books and more than 90 academic papers, won the prizes from provincial and ministry level. He teaches the courses of Strategic Management, Multinational Management and so on with excellent teaching achievements. He won the Second-class Prize for Provincial Scientific and Technological Advancement of Sichuan (as the first chief researcher) in 2001 and won the Third-class Prize for Ministry Scientific and Technological Advancement of Electronics Ministry (as the third chief researcher) in 1996.

    Professional Experience:
      After receiving his Ph.D. degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Dr. Runtian Jing joined the School of Management of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 1997. During the next period, he has worked on several funded research projects. Among them, four were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and one was supported by the Program of the Ministry of Education for New Century Excellent Talents of China (NCET). He has also won the grants from Fok Ying-Tong Education Foundation for Young Teachers in the Higher Education Institutions of China, and one course ("Organizational Behavior" ) he taught has entered the China National Program for Elaborate Courses (CNPEC). From August 2003 to March 2004, he have been a senior visiting scholar in the Paul Merage School of Business of University of California (Irvine), supported by the China Scholarship Council (CSC). Now he is a full professor of organizational & strategy, and also associate dean of this school. His primary professional interests regard top management team, organizational change, cross-cultural management. He has published extensively in both academic and management journals including the Journal of Business Ethics (in English), the International Journal of Conflict Management (in English), the Chinese Journal of Management Sciences (in Chinese), the Journal of Management Sciences (in Chinese), the Journal of Management Engineering (in Chinese).

      Ma Yongkai

    Professional Experience:
      Professor Ma graduated from Nanjing University of Poly-technology, and then got his master degree in 1991. Since 1993, he has been engaging in several research projects that including two research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the project that granted by the National Funds for Prominent Youth Scientist, and also a project sponsored specially for the outstanding young teachers from the Ministry of Education of China. He has published more than 30 academic papers on the prestigious journals in China such as "Journal of Management Engineering", "Journal of Systems Engineering", "Forecasting", "Theory and Practice of Systems Engineering" and "Quantitative Economics & Technical Economics". In 1996, he was awarded the First-class prize for Scientific and Technological Advancement of Sichuan Province. In 2002, he won the Second-class Prize for Provincial Prominent Philosophical Social Science Research Achievement of Sichuan.

    Professional Experience:
      Professor Chen received his bachelor degree from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 1982, major in Electronic Measure. In November 1989, he got his master degree in UESTC. In July 1997, he studied undergraduate course "Management" in Tsinghua University and in October 2002, he studied EMBA course "Marketing Management" in Mid-Europe Business School. From April 2004 to July 2004, he was the visiting scholar of Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Professor Chen is now holding a title as an executive director in Market Institute of China, the standing board director of the Industry and Engineering branch of Chinese Institute of Electronics and senior member in Technology and Economics Institute of China. From 2000 to 2004, Professor Chen has taken part in and been in charge of 12 projects, including the project from National Natural Science Foundation of China, and project from the Ministry of Education and so on. From 2000 to 2004, He has published more than 30 papers, and has received many prizes for his achievements in academic research. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students more than ten courses, such as "Supply Chain Management", "Marketing", etc. His teaching style in classes has always been admired as a kind of art. Besides, he was trained personnel and hold consulting service for some companies in the field of marketing and management.

      Li Yongjian

    Professional Experience:
      Professor Li, graduated from Industrial Psychology Institute (a state Professional lab) of Hangzhou University (now belong to Zhejiang University) with a Ph. D. degree in the field of Human's Recognition and Operation Efficiency. In 1998, he completed his post doctorate study from the post-doctoral professional turnover station of Southwest Jiaotong University. The station is specially in researching on railway, highway, and water transportations. Professor Li has conducted 13 research projects and a national patent, including 2 projects, supported by National Natural Science Foundation. All of them are provincial, ministry projects or supported by enterprises.
      He published 30 papers. His post doctorate research focused on improving reliability and efficiency of the human-machine-environment system. Aiming at basic theory for application in operating information in the system of human-machine-environment, he did some experiments to investigate in human response to some kinds of interference on the different stages of human information processing.

      Lu Ruoyu

    Professional Experience:
      Professor Lu, graduated from Northeast University, major in auto-control, and received his bachelor degree in 1981. In June 1988, he received master degree from Chengdu University of Science and Technology. And in December 2002, he got his doctor degree from Tsinghua University.
      Professor Lu is engaged in Service Management in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research Center. In the Center, he specified his research in technology management. For the past ten years, he has engaged in and undertaken more than 20 research projects in these fields, most of them are provincial and ministry level projects or higher, such as the Industrialization of High-tech, Transformation of Military Technologies into Civilian Applications, The Commercialization of Technological Achievements, The Combination of Producing, Research and Development, and Service Management. He has also completed more than ten consultant projects for enterprises and local government.
      Professor Lu has been awarded Prize for Provincial Academy and Research Achievement two times, Prize for Prominent University Graduate Thesis Instruction three times, the Third-class Prize for Provincial Scientific and Technological Advancement of Sichuan in March 2002, the Third-class Prize for Scientific and Technological Advancement of Chengdu local government in 1991. And he was one of the forth group mothball disciplinary leaders of Provincial Academy and Technology of Sichuan in 2002, the consultant of Scientific and Technological Achievement Transformation of Science and Technology Office of Sichuan Province form January 2004 to December 2005.

      Yin Lu

    Professional Experience:
      Professor Yin received his bachelor degree from Nanjing Institute of Post and Telecommunication in 1982, major in telecommunication engineering. In June 1986, he got his master degree in Beijing Post and Telecommunication University. Since June 1986, he has worked for UESTC as a teacher. In 1987, 1990, 1993, he has broken the regular rule of promotion that he was promoted to be a lecturer , associated professor and professor respectively.
      As the chief researcher Professor Yin has conducted more than 10 researching projects. He has successfully got support from National Natural Science Foundation for four projects. These projects include "A Study on the Pricing-model for Technical Commodity ", "A Study on the Efficiency of Quality-Economy", "A Study on the Quality-Economy", and "A Study on the Analysis and Countermeasure for the Industrialization of University High-tech".
      He has published more than 170 papers on various journals such as "Economy Research", "Journal of Telecommunication", "Science and Technology Report", "Management on Scientific Research", "Theory and Practice of Systems Engineering", "Research on Econometric and Technology-Economy". Besides, he has published more than ten monographs and teaching materials, such as "Technological Innovation Management", "Equity and Stock Incentive" "Analysis on Efficiency of Quality-Economy", "Introduction of The Third Industry Development", "Micro-economy and Macro-economy", etc. He has researched deeply in information economy, quality economic efficiency analysis, the method to count indirect economic efficiency, industrialization of results from science and technology. Now, he focuses himself on Emerging Technology Innovation Management Enterprise Stock Right and Equity Incentive. He has been awarded the title of Prominent Youth in Science and Technology by the Ministry of Electronic Industry, and got the Science and Technology Prize for youth of Sichuan, as well as the Prize for Youth Teacher in Management Science sponsored by Mr. Huo Yingdong, a Hong Kong entrepreneur. He also enjoys special allowance from State Council. He has once had the honor to be admitted in audience by Chairman Jiang Zeming, Vice-Chairman Hu Jingtao and other leaders of our Party and our Country, and had taken pictures with them.

      Chen Xu

    Professional Experience:
        Prof. Chen has gone to Science and Technology University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong and City University of Hong Kong as postdoctoral fellow, visiting scholar or research fellow for several times. He is principle or attendee of 5 National Science Foundation Projects, 2 National 863 Projects, 1 Chinese Postdoctoral Fellow Foundation Project, over 10 provincial and ministry projects and over 20 consulting projects supported by enterprises. He has published over 60 papers and 2 monographs.
        Prof. Chen was the principal of Sichuan Provincial Prominent Course "Production and Operation Management" in 2005. He won the second-class and third-class prize of provincial Humanities and Social Science Prize of Sichuan in 2004.
        Prof. Chen was the syndic expert of China Science and Technology, the communication syndic expert of National Natural Science Foundation, the member of Operation and Marketing Management Teaching Panel of National MBA Teaching Supervision Commission, referees of over 10 journals such as Journal of Management Science in China, Journal of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management and Journal of System Engineering Theory and Practice.

      Zhou Zongfang

    Professional Experience:
      Professor Zhou, graduated from Chongqing University with master degree. He worked as the visiting scholar from the Nebraska State Established University, USA. He has conducted many research projects in different subjects, and has published over 60 papers on the prestigious journals both at home and abroad, such as "Journal of Mathematics Analysis & Applications", "International Journal of computers & Mathematics with Applications", "International Journal of Mathematics & Computers Modeling", "Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering", "Journal of Systems Engineering in Theory and Practice", "Journal of Application of Systems Engineering Theory", "Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronic" and "Forecasting". Some of his theses have been collected by SCI, EI. Besides, he has published a book, and has been granted many honorable titles and prizes, including the Second-class prize of the Prominent Teaching Achievement of Sichuan Province, the Prize for Prominent Academic Thesis in Sichuan, and the Outstanding Teacher of Chongqing.
      Now, he is undertaking several projects including Humanities and Science Foundation Project of Education Ministry, Provincial Scientific Project of Sichuan and some transverse tasks. And he is the standing director of Risk Analysis Committee of Chinese Disaster Recovery Association.

      Liu Qiang

    Professional Experience:
      Prof. Liu is undertaking the convertible bond market and convertible bonds pricing. From November 1999 to February 2004, he was in Highbridge Capital Management, New York, U.S. as senior analyst. He designed, researched and developed Highbridge's convertible bonds pricing model(C++) and developed several risk management tools for Highbridge's CEO and published one paper. From June 1997 to November 1991, he worked in Credit Suisse First Boston, New York, U.S. as an analyst. And he has published about 7 papers in the first-class academic periodicals.

      Tian Yixiang

    Professional Experience:
      Prof. Tian, received his bachelor degree from the mathematics department in Sichuan Normal University. He then followed Prof. A. Ya. Savchenko, the member of National Academic of Sciences of Ukraine, to do researches in system model construction and control in 1994. In 1996, he got his master degree from the Management Science Department of Sichuan University. Prof. Tian is a standing director of Social Economy Systems Engineering Institute .He took part in several ministry and provincial research projects.
      In the past few years, Prof. Tian has published more than 50 papers on academic journals inside and outside of the country, such as "Theory and Application of Control", "Journal of Systems Engineering in Theory and Practice", "Econometric and Technology-Economy Research", "Science of System and Mathematics", "Journal of Mathematics and Physics", "ACTA MECHAICA", "Computer Engineering and Application", "Systems Engineering", "Forecasting", "Theory , Methods and Application of System Engineering", and "ACTA MECHAICA", ten of his articles have been quoted by SCI, ET, ISTP.
      Prof. Tian has received the Third-class prize for Scientific and Technological Advancement of Chengdu in 1998, and was selected to be one of the prominent teachers in youth and middle age of Wuhan Science and Technology University as well as the academic leader of management science and engineering in support. In 1999 and 2000, he got the Prominent Teaching Prize and the Scientific and Technological Advancement of Wuhan Science and Technology University respectively.

      Shao Peiji

    Professional Experience:
      Professor Shao, completed his post graduate education and received master degree in Southeast University in 1983. Then he worked as visiting scholar in Business School of San Claude State University of Minnesota, USA. In September 1999, he went to Lingnan University of Hong Kong to study on information system. From January 2002 to August 2002, he worked in Windsor University of Canada as senior visiting scholar.
      Professor Shao has conducted and completed several provincial and ministry research projects. He is now the member of Association for Information System (AIS). He had been awarded many prizes such as the Third-class prize of the Scientific and Technological Advancement from the Ministry of Electronic Industry in 1995; the Third-class Prize for Excellent Scientific Achievement of Sichuan by the Eighth Social Science Conference in 1999, and has also received the Second-class prize for Teaching Achievement of Sichuan, the First-class prize for Provincial Scientific and Technological Advancement of Sichuan in 2003 and the Second-class prize for Teaching Achievement of Sichuan. He has published three books and more than 70 academic papers and 3 monographs. He was the cooporational chairman of the 4th Asian eBusiness Workshop Aug.5-7, 2004, Chengdu, China. He is holding the titles as the Consultant Expert of the Expert Consulting Committees in the different levels of government body.

      Xia Yuanqiang

    Professional Experience:
      Professor Xia graduated from Chengdu University of Science and Technology, major in Earth Physics Prospecting. In 1987, he completed his postgraduate study in System Research Institute of China, received his master degree in mathematics, and then, in July 2002, he completed his doctorate study and got PH. D. degree from the School of Management of Tianjin University in the field of management science and engineering.
      Professor Xia has conducted more than ten projects and achieved many prizes that including a Third-class Prize for Scientific and Technological Advancement of Sichuan Province, the Third-class Prize for Teaching Achievements from Sichuan Educational Commission. He has developed six computer softwares for management applications. He has also published more than 20 papers on the journals such as "Journal of Tianjin University", "Practice and Realization of Mathematics", "Evaluation of Higher Education in China", "Chinese Geologic and Mineral Economy".

      Han Yi

    Professional Experience:
      Professor Han, graduated from Central-China University of Science and Technology, major in electric engineering. He received his master degree in management engineering from Wuhan University of Science and Technology. Professor Han has been focusing his research on the theory and application of international trade and finance. He has published more than 40 papers on the prestigious journals as well as on the international conferences. He was the chief editor and editor of four books. In 1996, he was elected into the first term of Excellent Talent Program of UESTC.
